Fall is beautiful in Santa Barbara. The air has a little more bite, the nights get longer and the smell of leaves is in the air. It is also a great time to celebrate! Here are a few snapshots of a wedding we had here at the Santa Barbara Historical Museum in late October. Congratulations to the lovely couple!

“The Santa Barbara Historical Museum is already so beautiful, so we kept the decorations simple with string lighting harvest tables and all-white flowers with green succulent accents.  My overall vision was rustic chic, which I think went perfectly with the setting that I had. I loved walking into the courtyard and seeing all of my hard work and planning come to life. However, the most memorable part of the day was when we made our entrance to the reception and danced our first dance song to M.Ward’s “Let My Love Open the Door.”  It was such a surreal moment and, at one point, it felt like it was just Mike and I in the whole place.” -the lovely bride

This wedding decor is a perfect example of how rustic does not have to lack in elegance. The floral arrangements by Brown Paper Design were gorgeous! Paired with the crystal clear glassware, they bring burlap to a whole new level of stature and created the look and feel of rustic wedding elegance and beauty. Succulents and Peonies were placed along the pathway leading to the alter and set the stage for a most beautiful wedding. Be sure to check out a snippet of Joel Serrato’s wonderful cinematography of the event viewable here. Great job to all of the vendors involved and congratulations to the beautiful couple!!! 🙂
